“If debugging is the process of removing bugs, then programming must be the process of putting them in.”
~ Edsger W. Dijkstra
"EXECUTION" since ancient times has been a term which strikes fear in the hearts of the peasants. Though brutal and merciless it brought the guilty to the guillotine and peace to the people.
In our virtual world, where reality is seldom hard to predict and more often than not dominated by miscreants, it is important to find a straight forward solution. Bugs are hell raisers in our programs and difficult to execute (Please forgive the pun). So, if you think you can spot the criminal and not beat around the bush, then welcome to "BUG XECUTE" and show case your debugging skills.
Be ready to put your debugging skills to the test!!! Because Bug Xecute gives you some of the meanest, ugliest and hardest bugs to clean up. The contest aims to create a synergy between the alertness and C skills of the participant.
Rules:
1) Maximum of 2 members per team
2) A preliminary test with multiple choice
questions will be conducted.
3) Teams which clear the minimum cut-off in this test will progress
to the finals.
4) The programming languages in which you will be tested are C &
Java.
5) During the finals, you will be given few code fragments.
6) Find and correct the errors in less than an hour.
7) The winner is determined by most problems solved, with ties
broken by total time taken.
